Jollo's vision is to enable global communication in real-time, across all languages. To achieve this vision Jollo's founders created the world's first community based real-time translation service, with both text and Audio support.

Users may post 'Translation Requests' which are answered by the community and entered into the Jollo 'Phrase Book'. Translations are rated by the community to ensure quality content.

To keep the balance between regular users and contributors each user has a certain number of 'Jollo points'. Users earn more points by translating phrases, and lose points each time they add a translation request.

The initial supported languages are English, Chinese, German, French and Spanish.
